The Carmel Education Foundation's mission is to support Carmel Clay students in academic achievement and lifelong learning.

The Carmel Education Foundation (CEF) is the non-profit funding partner of Carmel Clay Schools.  We raise funds to support innovation in classrooms, to foster safe and positive learning experiences for all students, and to provide scholarships for continued education.

This year the Foundation awarded 100 graduating seniors scholarships totaling over $106,000.  More than $20,000 in grants will be awarded to all 15 schools in Carmel to either fund needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, or to further foster equity and inclusion.

2020 impact

A one-time or recurring donation will help fund grants and scholarships.

 community impact

Carmel is consistently ranked among top places to live for families and children based, in large part, on the excellence of our public schools. Strong public schools are a vital part of keeping a community one where people want to live, work, and play. The strength of Carmel Clay Schools academics, along with a robust offering of programs to engage and inspire students, significantly contributes to the ongoing, and successful, development of the city.  The Foundation serves as a vital partner between our schools, businesses, and community organizations.
